Tips from Around the Blogosphere...
You're on the road with a hot presentation to give and your laptop fails...
What do you do?
Panic?
No, come prepared with a back-up of your presentation.
Lifehacks has an interesting back-up idea for your presentation - save the slides as images and upload them on Flickr.
For my presentation back-ups, I typically have three back-up options available in the event of an unforseen disaster:
- USB Drive with all the Presentation Files
- Go-to-my PC remote access to my desktop harddrive from anywhere with Internet access
- Hard copy that I can speak from
Another option that I've seen that works well is to e-mail your presentation to yourself at a web-based e-mail program like Yahoo! Mail or GMail.
